What is the Foundations Workbook?

The Foundations Workbook is a companion designed to support you in cultivating a positive mindset and making lasting changes in key areas of your life. It contains 26 pages of focused exercises and reflections, empowering you to enhance your well-being by addressing crucial aspects such as nutrition, sleep, movement, joy, hydration, and environment.

How can it help?

We’re told everyday what’s good for us and what’s bad for us, and what we should eat and shouldn’t eat. Some people appear to make overnight changes with no trouble at all, whilst the majority of us (me included) have an idea of what we should be doing, but never seem to get there. From my own experience and working with clients, I’ve found that exploring mindset, motivations and limitations can help make changes that stick. Therefore I designed this workbook to help you navigate through these 6 areas. To help you understand yourself better, find out where life might be unbalanced and what might hinder and help you make positive change.

We’re all on our own journey so your answers and exploration through this workbook will be completely unique, meaning that we can also find changes to suit your own personal circumstances.

Why are these foundations important?

It’s amazing how small changes, like improving your water intake, tweaking your bedtime routine slightly or finding 10 minutes to sit quietly can make a huge improvement to how you feel. We can all spend hours finding out about how the latest internet trend is going to make everything better or that that some magical supplement is going to take away your ills, but if our foundations are out of balance. Is that new trend actually going to help?

From my own personal experience, I’ve found that my joy plays a massive part in my well-being. I can eat the best food, take supplements and sleep tons, but if I’m stressed and not finding time to have some joy in my life, I can end up feeling like I have no energy and then I start neglecting other important foundations like movement. So taking a step back and exploring these areas can really help us see the big picture.

By exploring these 6 foundations you can hopefully find more energy, better mood, better sleep quality, more resilience to stress, and, overall, just find a better balance.
